Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for the posts of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operator and Lower Divisional Clerks.

SSC CHSL Educational Qualification

The candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination as on 01 January, 2017.

SSC CHSL Pay Scale

Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant PB -1(Rs. 5200-20200) Grade Pay 2400
Data Entry Operator : Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 2400
Lower Division Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900
Court Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900 

SSC CHSL Age Limit

The candidates applying for the above post should be between 18 to 27 years old as on 01.01.2017.  Relaxation of Upper age limit for reserved category candidates.

SSC CHSL Application fee

Payment of application fee is exempted for all women and candidates belonging to SC, ST, physically handicapped and ex-servicemen. All the other category candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 100 hrough online by using SBI challan/ net banking and any credit & debit cards.

SSC CHSL Selection procedure

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance Computer based Written Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/Skill Test (Tier-III)
