As such you can expect stiff competition during your written as well as the interview.
Food Corporation of India has been set up in January 1965. Its first District office is at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. Food Corporation of India is a Public Sector Undertaking. It has its headquarters at New Delhi, India. Currently Shri C. Vishwanath (I.A.S) is the Chairman and MD. FCI operates through its 5 Zonal and 24 regional offices. FCI procures rice and wheat directly from farmers at MSP or Minimum Support Price.
To start your preparation you need to know and understand the FCI recruitment exam pattern 2015 and the scope of syllabus. Here we are trying to make that understanding easier for you:
FCI Recruitment Exam Pattern 2015
The exam consists of 3 papers: Paper I paper II and paper III. Paper I is common for all candidates appearing while Paper II and III differs for candidates appearing under differing categories.
Candidates appearing for Post Codes A (=General), B (=Depot) and D (= Accounts Cadres) will have to appear for paper I and paper II. Candidates applying for Post Code C for [Technical Cadre] will appear in Paper-I and Paper-III. The examination in paper III will be of degree level. Paper I and II will be of Higher Secondary Level.
The examination in paper III is of degree level while that of Paper I and II are of Higher Secondary Level.

Those who will qualify the written exams (for general, Dept, accounts and depot) CPT or computer proficiency test will be held. Computer Proficiency test will be of qualifying nature. Qualifying marks in the CPT will be decided by authorities conducting the exam.
You need to qualify paper I to be eligible for paper II and paper III. It is basically used for short listing candidates for paper II and III. Only those who qualify in the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) will be considered for final selection.
For visually handicapped candidates having visual disabilities of forty per cent or above can avail the assistance of a Scribe in the Written Examination and Passage Reader for CPT. They have to make the request through the application form. Please note questions will not be provided in Braille script.
Final selection will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Paper I and II (200 and 200 marks) for Post Codes A, B and D and will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Paper I and III (200 and 200 marks) for Post Code C. Final allocation to final zones will be done on the basis of merit and preference mentioned.
