The Government of Telangana State, under the direction of the Director of School Education, has issued a notification for the hiring of School Assistants (SAs), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs), Language Pandits (LPs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs), and Special Education Teachers.

Qualification
- School Assistants:
- Qualifications: Degree/PG, B.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education) or B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed.
- Eligibility Tests: TSTET/APTET/CTET
2. Special Education Teacher (Upper Primary/Secondary Level – School Assistant Category):
- Qualifications: Degree, B.Ed, B.Ed (Special Education)
- Eligibility Tests: TSTET/APTET/CTET
3. Secondary Grade Teacher:
- Qualifications: Intermediate/Senior Secondary, D.El.Ed, D.Ed (Special Education), B.El.Ed
- Eligibility Tests: TSTET/APTET/CTET
4. Special Education Teacher (Primary Level – Secondary Grade Teacher Category):
- Qualifications: Intermediate/Senior Secondary, D.Ed (Special Education)

5. Language Pandits:
- Qualifications: Degree/PG, B.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education) or B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed.

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2023)
- Minimum Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and should not have been born after 01/07/2005.
- Maximum Age Limit: Applicants must not be older than 46 years and should not have been born before 02/07/1977.
- Age Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Application Fee
- Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- for each post, to be paid separately.
- Payment Mode: Through the designated payment gateway.
Application Procedure
- Candidates are required to apply online via the official website https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in for the recruitment of 11,062 teacher posts. The application window is open from 04.03.2024 to 02.04.2024.
- Before payment and application submission, carefully review the “Information Bulletin” for eligibility, download it for free from the website.
- Upon successful fee payment, a ‘Payment Reference ID’ is issued, essential for online application submission at https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in.
- Note that the ‘Payment Reference ID’ allocation doesn’t complete the application process, it’s just only a confirmation of fee payment received.
- Refer to the USER GUIDE on the website from 04.03.2024 for step-by-step instructions.
- Post-wise vacancies in each district will be available on the website from 04.03.2024.
Selection Procedure
Recruitment involves a selection process comprising a Written Test and government-specified criteria.
- For School Assistants, Secondary Grade Teachers, Language Pandits, Physical Education Teachers, and Special Education Teachers in Primary Level: Total marks are 100, with 80 for the Written Test (DSC-2024) and 20% Weightage for TSTET/APTET/CTET scores. APTET scores before 02-06-2014 are considered if applicable.
- For School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teachers: Total marks of 100 are allocated for the written test.
Recruitment is based on a merit cum roster system following Telangana Government’s existing provisions.
