UIIC or United Insurance conducted online exam for the recruitment of Administrative Officers. The exam had both objective and descriptive paper. Both the objective and the descriptive paper were online. The objective paper was of 200 marks and of 120 minutes duration.
The paper was divided into 5 sections: Reasoning (50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), English(40 marks), General Knowledge(40marks) and Computers(20marks). In the descriptive paper it was needed for the candidates to type the answers in the space provided. 30 minutes were provided for answering 3 questions. Below is the UIIC AO Exam 2014 – An Analysis.

The Objective paper I: paper was divided into 5 sections: Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude, general awareness, English and Computer. The overall level was moderately difficult. If you had your practice with the other objective papers e.g. banking PO and clerical exams then this paper should not be a tough cake for you.
Reasoning: This section has 50 questions of 50 marks. The difficulty level was moderate. With practice you can easily answer 35-40 questions easy. Questions involved sitting arrangements, living arrangements, relation, syllogism, relations, input-output. In short nothing out of the topics that you have prepared. If you had the speed of solving with accuracy then this section was easy for you.
Quantitative Aptitude: this section had 50 questions of 50 marks. Difficulty level was moderate. There were questions from DI, algebra, profit%, Interest. The DI questions were easy. The questions were direct and required fast calculations. With practice you can easily score 30-35 marks in this section.
English: there were 40 questions of 40 marks. Questions were easy in this section. Basic 10th standard questions were asked. The comprehension was of moderate difficulty level. There were arranging the sentences, point the wrong part in the sentence, substitute with a suitable word and fill in the blanks. Questions were direct and comparatively easy than the banking papers you might have attempted.
General Awareness: There were 40 questions of 40 marks. The difficulty level was moderate to difficult depending on your preparation. Questions were mostly from finance sector. Though most questions were direct but it requires preparation and a good grasp of the current economic and financial happenings. 30-32 marks in this section would be a good score.
Computer: 20 questions of 20 marks were asked from this section. The difficulty level was easy. Basic computer knowledge is enough to answer the questions. You can easily score 15-16 marks from this section. Ideally this section should have been the least time consuming.
As soon as the objective paper was over i.e. after the completion of 120 minutes, the 2nd paper started. The descriptive paper was of 50 marks and of 30 minutes duration. There were 3 questions: essay, précis and letter. There were 3 options for letter writing (150 words), 3 for essay (250 words) and a single passage for précis (150 words). Essay topics involved mostly insurance related topics. Among the letter writing topics one was informal letter while other 2 were formal letters.
The précis topic was related to insurance. It can be placed in moderate difficult level. For those of you who are not used to typing through the keyboard this might have been slightly disadvantageous. But do not get disheartened. The authority conducting the paper would surely keep this in mind while publishing the final cutoff.
