United India Insurance Company Ltd conducted the online examination for the recruitment of AOs in UIIC. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 28th/29th Decemeber, 2014 in two phases: Phase I and Phase II. But a notice has been issued by the company stating a change in the recruitment procedure.
According to the earlier notification; the phase I exam was suppose to be held on 28th or 29th of December 2014 (tentative). The exam conducted on the above dates would be of one hour and objective kind. Later, in the month of January 2015, a main paper and a descriptive paper (online) would be conducted for the candidates shortlisted from the phase I exam.
According to the revised Notification; the phase wise examinations have been scrapped. Now only main exam (online) would be conducted followed by an interview of the shortlisted candidates. The preliminary paper has been withdrawn due to administrative reasons. The main exam will be conducted on 28th December 2014. The Online paper will have 2 parts an objective part and another descriptive part. The online objective paper will have 5 sections and be of 200 marks and of 120 minutes. This will be followed by a descriptive (online) paper of 30 minutes.

The online examination now will be of 2 parts: objective and descriptive. The objective part will contain 5 sections reasoning, Quantitative analysis, English, GK and computer. The Descriptive paper will be of 30 minutes and you need to answer 3 questions. The exam will be of 120minutes+30 minutes.
United India Insurance Company published notification requesting application for the post of AO in generalist and other specialist cadre. This year there were approximately 393 vacancies to be filled. The online applications were requested in the month of October 2014.
