Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering
• M.Sc
• Master’s Degree (relevant discipline)

Nationality

• Citizen of India
• Subject of Nepal
• Subject of Bhutan
• Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement
• Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam) with the intention of permanent settlement.

Note: Candidates in categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Relaxation

Upper Age Limit Relaxation is as follows :

• Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes: Up to 5 years
• Other Backward Classes: 3 years
• Defence Services personnel disabled in operations: 3 years
• Ex-servicemen with at least five years of Military Service: 5 years
• ECOs/SSCOs with an initial period of five years Military Service: 5 years
• Deaf-mute and Orthopaedically handicapped persons: 10 years

• For Female/ SC/ ST/ PWD: NIL
• For Others: Rs. 200/-
• Payment Mode: State Bank of India or by using any Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card

• Apply online at www.upsconline.nic.in.
• Register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform on the Commission’s website.
• OTR registration is a one-time process.
• If already registered, proceed directly to fill the online application for the examination.
• Online applications accepted until 26th September 2023, 6:00 PM.
• The application link will be disabled after the mentioned deadline.
