IBPS invites application for recruitment to the posts of Officers (Scale I, II and III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) for various RRBs for the year 2015.

Below are the details regarding eligibility criteria, application fee and examination scheme of IBPS RRB EXAM 2015

IMPORTANT: Please note that you can apply for both the posts — Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer. However you can apply for ONLY ONE OFFICER POST i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II
or Scale-III. Also bear in mind that you will have to apply separately and pay the required fees separately for each post you are applying for.

IBPS RRB Exam Educational Qualifications

  1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
  2. Officer Scale-I: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy;
  3. Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
  4. Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers)
    Information Technology Officer: Degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
    Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
    Law Officer: Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
    Treasury Manager: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution
    Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.
    Agricultural Officer: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
  5. Officer Scale-III: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

IBPS RRB Exam Age Limit

  1. For Officer Scale- III- Above 21 years – Below 40 years
  2. For Officer Scale- II- Above 21 years – Below 32 years
  3. For Officer Scale- I- Above 18 years – Below 30 years
  4. For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years

IBPS RRB Exam Application Fees

Application Fees can be paid from  08.07.2015 to 28.07.2015 through ONLINE mode only.
For Officer (Scale I, II & III) – Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates and Rs. 600/- for all others
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates and Rs. 600/- for all others.

IBPS RRB Exam Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Online written examination. Only those candidates who secure the minimum cut-off marks will be called for Personal Interview. Final Selection will be made on candidate’s performance in written exam as well as interview.

IBPS RRB Exam Negative Marking

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
