List of Current World Presidents

Updated on 30-05-2017

Observing the recent trends of various competitive examinations, a number of questions are being asked on the current Presidents, Prime Ministers and different post holders of various countries. It is understandable that one cannot remember all the incumbent Presidents or Prime ministers of the countries. But as aspirants we should try to learn if not all, the names of the Presidents of important countries or countries that were in news for some or the other reasons.

In this post, we have prepared an exhaustive List of Current World Presidents of various countries. Since, it is important that we are up to date with the recent changes in President’s office of any country, we have highlighted those countries in which new President has assumed office ( mainly 2016 and 2017). Also, try learning the Presidents and Prime Ministers of countries visited by PM Narendra Modi. We expect questions from these visits could be asked in various competitive exams. At the end of the table, we have listed the countries visited by our PM in 2016 and 17. So, do not miss out on that section.

In 2010 SBI PO exam , there were two questions on this topic. One was Denmark’s President name and other was Hungary. In 2007, in SBI PO Exam South Korea President’s name was asked. In SSC CGL exam also the same trend was seen. One or two questions from Current World Presidents are asked. Hope that our list will help with these questions in the upcoming exams.
