NCL Assistant Foreman Recruitment 2024

Northern Coal Fields Ltd (NCL) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Foreman Vacancy with a total vacancy of 150.

NCL (Northern Coalfields Limited) invites online applications from Indian nationals for various posts mentioned in Table A for regular deployment in Mines/Establishments across Singrauli District of Madhya Pradesh and Sonbhadra District of Uttar Pradesh.

Selection Procedure

Eligible candidates meeting minimum criteria on the Crucial Date must take a Computer Based Test.
Selection is based on a candidate’s relative score in the Computer Based Test.
Candidates can participate based on their eligibility declaration in the online application form.
Scrutiny/verification of eligibility claims will occur post declaration of Computer Based Test results.
Candidates’ selection for the merit panel depends on securing cut-off marks in the Computer Based Test, which varies by category, and meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria. Minimum Qualifying Marks is given below :

Details of the Test

Computer Based Test conducted separately for each post.
Test duration: 90 minutes.
Total marks: 100.
Section ‘A’: Technical knowledge (discipline-related) with 70 MCQs.
Section ‘B’: General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude with 30 marks MCQs.
Each question carries 01 mark; no penalty for wrong answers.
Un-attempted questions receive no marks.
Question paper is bilingual (English and Hindi).
In case of error/ambiguity in the Hindi version, the English version prevails.

Application Procedure

Go to www.nclcil.in and navigate to “Career” > “Recruitment” > “Employment Notification for Direct Recruitment of various posts of Supervisory Staff” for “Assistant Foreman (Mechanical/E&T/Electrical).” Click “Apply Online.”
Choose preferred language (English/Hindi) during the application.

Non-SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental Candidates: Pay Rs. 1000.00/- + GST Rs. 180/- (Total: Rs. 1180/-) using the online facility.
During the online application, upload required documents.

Submission of Documents

Scanned copy of recent passport-size color photograph (not older than 3 weeks in jpg/jpeg format).
Scanned copy of signature with Black ink pen (in jpg/jpeg format).
Scanned copies of documents (in pdf, jpg, jpeg format), including:
- Matriculation/Secondary Board level certificate.
- For Assistant Foreman Electrical (Trainee) Gr.C: Scanned copy of Diploma or relevant higher qualification in Electrical Engineering from a Government-recognized institute.
- For Assistant Foreman Mechanical (Trainee) Gr.C: Scanned copy of Diploma or relevant higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering from a Government-recognized institute.
- For Assistant Foreman E&T (Trainee) Gr.C: Scanned copy of Diploma or relevant higher qualification in Electronics Engineering from a Government-recognized institute.
- Candidates belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PwBD must upload a self-attested copy of a valid certificate in the prescribed format.
- Candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) must upload a self-attested copy of a valid Income & Asset certificate issued by the competent authority.
If more than one application is received from a candidate, the most recent (current) application will be considered final.
Non-attachment of required/legible documents in the Online Application Form will be treated as an incomplete application and rejected.
After filling all required fields, ensure the data is correct before submitting the form, as changes are not allowed later.
