Age Limit
The age limit for NICL AO Recruitment Exam 2015 is between 21 to 30 years (as on 30.11.2014). However, there is age relaxation in the upper limit for reserved categories. Details of the relaxation are as below

Application Procedure
- You will have to apply online from 05.01.2015 to 24.01.2015 by visiting NICL website http://www.nationalinsuranceindia.com. (The application procedure will start from 05-01-2015, the application link will not work before that)
- Keep your photograph and signature scanned before starting your application procedure.
- You will be asked to register yourself by entering your Name, Contact details and Email-id.
- You will get a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system, keep the information saved somewhere.
- Now you can start filling other details carefully. Once you finally submit your application you would not be able to modify it later.
- Fill in the application fee according to your category.
- Keep the computer generated application form and receipt of application fee saved in your computer.
Application Fee
- Candidates belonging to General Category will have to pay Rs.600/- while Rs.50/- for SC/ ST / PWD/ EXS/ DXS candidates and all other.
- You can make the payment by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
Selection Procedure
There will be two phases in the selection process. One being the written examination and other interview.
Written examination will have two parts:
- Written Examination- You will get 120 minutes for objective based paper and 45 minutes for descriptive paper
- Interview
- For Generalist

Mode of Examination
The written examination will be an Online paper. The Descriptive English Test will be conducted only through online mode. Questions will be displayed on the screen of your computer. You will have to type your answer by using keyboard.
Negative Marking
For each wrong answer marked ¼ of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from those obtained.
Candidates will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of their performance in the written examination.
Documents required for Online written examination
You will have to carry the below mentioned documents for the written examination –
(1) Call Letter for the respective date and session of Examination
(2) Photo-identity proof in original bearing exactly the same name and other information as it appears on the call letter/application form and
(3) Photocopy of the above photo-identity proof (like PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazzetted Officer, etc.)
Interview
On the basis of your performance you will be called for interview at some selected centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. You will be required to download interview call letters from company’s website.
Final selection will be done on the basis of their overall performance in written examination as well as interview.
