Almost every year Intelligence Bureau of India invites applications for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade-II/Executive, General Central Service, Group-C(Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial). It is one of the most sought after jobs of the country as it directly allows a candidate to work in one of the most prestigious and oldest intelligence agency.
Intelligence Bureau ACIO Recruitment Exam Details 2015
1. Eligibility Criteria
A) Educational Qualification:
Essential: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computers.
B) Age Limit
Age limit for the above post is 18 to 27 years. However, upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates.
2. Pay Scale
Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (Pay Band-2) (Plus admissible Central Government allowances).
3. Postings
Candidates should keep in mind that they can get posted anywhere in India.
4. Examination Fees
An examination fee of Rs.100/- for General & OBC category (Male) needs to be submitted. You can either deposit money through offline medium, i.e. by cash deposit at any branch of State Bank of Indian using the Challan form or through offline medium by using internet banking facility of State Bank of India or State Bank ATM-cum-Debit Card.
All female candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe are exempted from payment of fee.
5. How to apply
The application procedure involves submission of an online form. You wil have to visit the website www.mha.nic.in to access the form. After submission of online application, you will get a system generated registration slip. You will be required to take a print out of registration slip and keep it for future reference.

6.Scheme of Examination:
There will be a written examination for the post of ACIOII/Exe. There are two papers namely Paper I (Objective type) and Paper-II (Descriptive type on English language only).
The total duration for both Papers is 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Paper I will focus on General Awareness/General Knowledge, Reasoning, Comprehension and Mathematical ability while Paper II will be designed to check the knowledge of English writing skill and analytical capability.
7. Selection Procedure
Those candidates who meet the cut-off set by the bureau in the written test (Paper-I & II) will be called for the interview. The date, place and time of interview is intimated to the candidates online.
Based on your performance in written test (Paper-I & II) and Interview, you will be selected subject to the condition of successful completion of your Character and Antecedent verification and thereafter medical examination.

Can a candidate having knock knee is eligible?

It depends on what degree of knock knees one has. It is better to take a doctor’s advice on this. Please be aware that candiadates with high level of knock knees will be declared unfit.
